천사의 도움을 구하는 기도

 

 

(1) 수호천사께 바치는 기도

 

 “언제나 저를 지켜주시는 수호천사님,

인자하신 주님께서 저를 당신께 맡기셨으니

오늘 저를 비추시고 인도하시며 다스리소서. 아멘.”

(2) 성 미카엘 대천사께 바치는 기도

 

“성 미카엘 대천사님, 싸움 중에 있는 저희를 보호하소서.

사탄의 악의와 간계에 대한 저희의 보호자가 되소서.

오, 하느님, 겸손되이 하느님께 청하오니 그를 감금하소서.

그리고 천상군대의 영도자시여,

영혼을 멸망시키기 위하여 세상을 떠돌아다니는 사탄과

모든 악령들을 지옥으로 쫓아버리소서. 아멘.”

 

(3) 구품천사께 바치는 기도

 

공경하는 마음으로 이 기도를 바치는 사람은 누구든지, 그가 미사에 나아갈 때, 각 9품에서 1명씩 선택된 9명의천사들의 호위를 받게 될 것이다. 그리고 이 기도를 매일 바치는 사람은 살아서는 나와 천국의 모든 거룩한 천사들의 지속적인 도움을 받을 것이며, 사후에는 그와 친척들까지도 우리가 연옥에서 구해 낼 것이다. 

(본 기도는 성 미카엘 대천사가 포르투갈의 가르멜 수녀 안토니아 다스토나코에게 알려주었으며, 1851년에 비오 9세 교황님에 의해 승인됨.) 

 

ㅡ기도 방법ㅡ  (십자가를 쥐고)

  • 시작 기도 : 하느님, 저를 구하소서. 주님, 어서 오사 저를 도우소서. 영광송. 

  • 1 ~ 9 : 아래 각 품의 천사들께 드리는 청원 후에 주님의 기도 1번과 성모송 3번씩 바침.

  1. 성 미카엘 대천사와 세라핌 (Seraphim) 천사들의 전구함으로 기도드리오니, 주님, 저희가 주님께 대한 완전한 사랑의 불길로 타오르게 하소서. 아멘.
  2. 성 미카엘 대천사와 체루빔 (Cherubim) 천사들의 전구함으로 기도드리오니, 주님, 저희가 죄의 길을 벗어나 그리스도의 완덕의 길로 들어설 수 있는 은총을 내려 주소서. 아멘.
  3. 성 미카엘 대천사와 좌품천사(Thrones)들의 전구함으로 기도드리오니, 주님, 진심에서 우러나오는 겸손의 정신을 저희 마음 속에 불어 넣어 주소서. 아멘.
  4. 성 미카엘 대천사와 권품천사(Dominions)들의 전구함으로 기도드리오니, 주님, 저희가 감각을 억제하고 격정을 다스릴 수 있는 은총을 주소서, 아멘.
  5. 성 미카엘 대천사와 능품(Powers)천사들의 전구함으로 기도드리오니, 주님, 저희 영혼을 마귀의 유혹과 꾐으로부터 보호하여 주소서. 아멘.
  6. 성 미카엘 대천사와 역품(Virtues)천사들의 전구함으로 기도드리오니, 주님, 저희를 악으로부터 지켜 주시고 유혹에 빠지지 않게 하소서 아멘.
  7. 성 미카엘 대천사와 주품(Principalities)천사들의 전구함으로 기도드리오니, 주님 저희 영혼을 참된 순명의 영으로 채워 주소서, 아멘.
  8. 성 미카엘 대천사와 대 천사(Archangels)들의 전구함으로 기도드리오니, 주님, 저희가 항구한 믿음으로 모든 선행을 열심히 실천하여 천국의 영광을 누릴 수 있게 하소서, 아멘.
  9. 성 미카엘 대천사와 천사(Angels)들의 전구함으로 기도드리오니, 주님, 저희가 이승에서 이들의 보호를 받고 천국에 이르는 길로 인도되게 하소서, 아멘.

오, 영예로운 왕자, 성 미카엘 대천사여! 천국의 사령관이고 영혼들의 보호자이며, 반항하는 영들의 정복자이고 천상 왕가의 종이신 저희의 감탄스러운 지도자시여! 초인간적으로 탁월한 성덕으로 빛나는 성 미카엘 대천사님, 확신을 갖고 당신께 간구하오니 저희를 모든 악에서 구하시고, 자애로이 보호하시어 저희가 매일 매일 하느님께 더욱 더 충실히 봉사드릴 수 있게 하소서. 오, 영광스러운 성 미카엘 대천사, 예수 그리스도 교회의 왕자이시여! 저희가 그리스도께서 언약하신 바를 얻을 수 있도록 저희를 위해 빌어 주소서.

"Angel of God, my guardian dear,
To whom God's love commits me here,

(2) Saint Michael the Archangel Prayer

 

"St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the divine power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

 

(3) The Chaplet of St. Michael

 

O God, come to my assistance. O Lord, make haste to help me. Glory be to the Father, etc.

 

[Say one Our Father and three Hail Marys after each of the following nine salutations in honor of the nine Choirs of Angels]

 

1. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Seraphim may the Lord make us worthy to burn with the fire of perfect charity. Amen.

2. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Cherubim may the Lord grant us the grace to leave the ways of sin and run in the paths of Christian perfection. Amen.

3. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Thrones may the Lord infuse into our hearts a true and sincere spirit of humility. Amen.

4. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Dominations may the Lord give us grace to govern our senses and overcome any unruly passions. Amen.

5. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Virtues may the Lord preserve us from evil and falling into temptation. Amen.

6. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Powers may the Lord protect our souls against the snares and temptations of the devil. Amen.

7. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Principalities may God fill our souls with a true spirit of obedience. Amen.

8. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Archangels may the Lord give us perseverance in faith and in all good works in order that we may attain the glory of Heaven. Amen.

9. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Angels may the Lord grant us to be protected by them in this mortal life and conducted in the life to come to Heaven. Amen.

Concluding prayers:

O glorious prince St. Michael, chief and commander of the heavenly hosts, guardian of souls, vanquisher of rebel spirits, servant in the house of the Divine King and our admirable conductor, you who shine with excellence and superhuman virtue deliver us from all evil, who turn to you with confidence and enable us by your gracious protection to serve God more and more faithfully every day.

Pray for us, O glorious St. Michael, Prince of the Church of Jesus Christ, that we may be made worthy of His promises.

Almighty and Everlasting God, Who, by a prodigy of goodness and a merciful desire for the salvation of all men, has appointed the most glorious Archangel St. Michael Prince of Your Church, make us worthy, we ask You, to be delivered from all our enemies, that none of them may harass us at the hour of death, but that we may be conducted by him into Your Presence.This we ask through the merits of Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.

 

The history of this Chaplet goes back to a devout Servant of God, Antonia d'Astonac, who had a vision of St. Michael. He told Antonia to honor him by nine salutations to the nine Choirs of Angels. St. Michael promised that whoever would practice this devotion in his honor would have, when approaching Holy Communion, an escort of nine angels chosen from each of the nine Choirs. In addition, for those who would recite the Chaplet daily, he promised his continual assistance and that of all the holy angels during life.

(4) Angelus

V. The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary;
R. And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and in the hour of our death. Amen.

V. Behold the handmaid of the Lord:
R. Be it done unto me according to Thy word.

Hail Mary, full of grace, .....

V. And the Word was made flesh:
R. And dwelt among us.

V. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray:
Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we, to whom the incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His passion and cross be brought to the glory of His resurrection, through the same Christ our Lord.

The Angelus is recited at three particular times during the day; 6 am, 12 noon, and 6 pm. Traditionally it is recited kneeling while a bell is rung. During the Easter Season, the Angelus is replaced by the Regina Caeli, a practice first instituted in 1743.
